Villa San Michele
The Villa San Michele was constructed in the times of the 19th century and is located on the Isle of Capri. The villa offers insightful views of the Capri town and also its harbour, the Mount Vesuvius and the Sorrentine Peninsula. It is surrounded with a number of beautiful gardens which bring enormous colour to the surroundings with a lot of vegetation of plants, trees, fruits and flowers. The Arco Naturale is a naturally occurring arch situated on the eastern coast of the Island of Capri which dates back to the age of Paleolithic. It is actually a collection of the remains of the collapsed grotto. The arch reaches a height of 12 metres which is 18 metres above the ground and there are a number of limestones consisted there. A lot of vegetation surrounds arch and the spot is considered to be quite adventurous. People surely visit the site due to its corroded remains. The sea seems quite close from the arch and the views in the surrounding are definitely something. Garden of Augustus
Originally known as the Krupp Gardens, the Garden of Augustus are the botanical gardens which are located on the Isle of Capri in Campania. The gardens are loaded with all sorts of vegetation including a number of trees, plants which sometimes produce flowers and fruits making the garden look tremendously beautiful and colourful. They have been designed as terraces which give an overlooking view of the sea and can be considered a testament to the diverse flora of the Capri island with numerous ornamental flowers and plants such as brooms, dahlias and geraniums. A monument is also housed in the premises of the garden named Vladimir Lenin which is unique in its design, style and architecture. The monument comprises of several blocks of marble each about 5 metres in height.
The Piazzetta also known as Piazza Umberto or Piazza Umberto Primo er Bytorvet i Capri which translates to Little Square. It has been nicknamed as 'the little theatre of the world'. Considered as the most famous square on the Isle of Capri, the square is situated in the historic centre of the city on the east side of the island since the times of the Roman. The square is the centre of the town and also considered as the meeting point of the island both by the people who live on the island and all the others as well. A number of attractions are housed in the square like the clocktower, the Al Piccolo bar, church of Santo Stefano and many more.
The Mount Solaro is a mountain located on the Capri island in Campania, Italy. The elevation of the mountain is 589 metres and it is also considered as the highest point of the city. The peak is highly rich in flora and fauna and offers great hiking opportunities. Almost 900 species of vegetation are housed on the peak including ilex, heather acanthus, smilace, arbutus, juniper, lentisk, broom, myrtle, litosperma and many more. A little lower altitudes consist of strawberry trees, rock-roses, laurels, narcissus, pines, orchids, Daphne shrubs, Lithodora Rosmarinifolia, Pistacia lentiscus and many others. A lot of birds including the peregrine falcons can also be spotted. Some of the major sites other than the hiking peak include a military fort named Fortino di Bruto and its remains, and Eremo di Santa Maria a Cetrella which is famous for its architecture and much more.
The Green Grotta translated to Green Cave is a sea cave which is located on the island of Capri. The coast nearby is rugged and is exposed entirely to sirocco gales. There is a lot of ablation in the rocks and so the former water lines cannot be preserved. Former land levels are difficult to recognise.
