Three Gorges Museum
Three Gorges Museum is the largest monographic museum in China. Located in front of the People Hall, this museum showcases the anti-Japanese, Splendid Three Gorges and Urban development of Chongqing. This building carries keen importance in China as it is a place for public undertaking for the preservation, education, scientific research in respect of cultural relics. One can visit the place by taking 262, 181, 322, 881 and 215 no. bus to Great Hall Stop and then walk to the museum.
Eling Park is located on Mt. Eling and is also known as 'courteous park.' This park is home to distinct flora species and has a newly built tower. The Liangjiang Pavilion is famous for capturing the entire view of Chongqing. The park has various pavilions, gardens, steep pathways and hot spring pools where everyone would love to take a dip. There is a zoo over here, where you can see the Panda's and Golden colored monkeys.
Shibaozhai which means Stone Treasure Fortress is located in Zhong County at the south bank of the Yangtze River. It is a 12 stories ancient temple which welcomes you to take a glimpse of the ancient Chinese era, Shibaozhai was built by Qing Dynasty in 1750. Here, climbing the 12 stories will not tire you because you will need time to look at the paintings and sculptures on each level. The temple is very popular among tourists and is little far from the main city of Chongqing.
Three Natural Parks
The Three Natural Bridges in Xiannüshan Town of Wulong District in Chongqing are natural limestone bridges. They are in Wulong Karst National Park, which is a territory of South-China, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park has been used as a filming location in various films for ex-Transformers. There is a tradition by which each bridge is named after a dragon, here the dragons whose names are used are Qinglong, Heilong, and Tianlong.

With its rapid expansion, Chongqing has merged all nearby towns and villages in it. Hence, there are various means by which one can commute like Taxis, Public transports as Buses and Subway monorails, Metros and Local Rails can be a good option for traveling. All these means are reliable and safe and majorly connects all important attractions. You may opt for your car too.
What Should I Wear?
Though there are no such restrictions on wearing clothes, it is suggested to pack your bags according to the weather in which you are traveling. It is good to carry some woolen clothes if you are going in December to February as they are winter seasons, while for Spring try carrying a thin overcoat as high winds flow during that time. For summers try not to wear long pants and go with shorts and tees only. If going in Summer do carry a sun-tan protecting lotion with you.
Best Time to Visit
From September to October and April is the best time to visit Chongqing. Not only the temperatures are friendly, but the surroundings will also be good.

You may opt for one if you are willing to know every monument's story and history. If you are booking a tour package, then they will provide you with one. Else, one can travel on their on their own too as the locals are all helpful and tourist friendly.
How To Get There?
The city is located at banks of Yangtze and Jialing Rivers in south China, near the Three Gorges Dam. One can travel to Chongqing through Rail network and by air. Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport connects you to all major cities and countries.
It is all suggested to bring an ample amount of cash with you while traveling to Chongqing. People do accept digital payments, but for exploring the local market and streets, you should have liquid cash with you.
