Imhoff-Schokoladenmuseum or also known as Imhoff Chocolate Museum and was opened in the year 1993 in the month of October. The exhibit is likely to make you drool all over the place as it shows the journey of chocolate on how it started, its initial brands and much more. The museum operates on its own and does not receive or take any form of subsidy. Almost 500 guided tours are conducted in the museum with 675,000 visitors each year. Some of its major attractions includeglass cubes housing cacao trees in a tropicarium of the species Theobroma cacao and Theobroma grandiflorum, a chocolate fountain which is 3 metres in height where an employee is standing with wafers who distributes these wafers by dipping them into the fountain of chocolate , a wide range of products of chocolate and pralines and also the miniature versions of the machines which were used in the production of chocolate and allowing visitors to see the manufacturing of small chocolate bars as well.
