Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is the largest observatory of the five built by Rajput king Raja Sawai Jai Singh II. Declared as UNESCO World Heritage site, the 18th century observatory was built to see the astronomical changes by naked eye. An architectural marvel, the site houses 19 astronomical devices along with the world's largest sundial, 'Smarat Yantra'.

Albert Hall Museum is the state museum of Rajasthan and the oldest one in the state. The building designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob is a beautiful specimen of Indo-Saracenic architecture and was opened as a museum for public view in the year 1887.
