Travelling to Kiev, Ukraine

The capital of Ukraine may seems negligible, but it is actually an eclectic cityscape and there are plenty exciting things to do in Kiev. Also known as Kiyv, this city is home to magnificent churches and lots of lush trees. Over the past few years, Kiev experienced a creative wave--taken over by the hip urban art, vintage cafes, and loud parties. This revolution has made Kiev even more attractive for tourists. The best part is: prices are relatively cheaper in this city than other Europe cities.

If you're hunting for some street food, buy them at street food festivals instead of the street food near the subway stations. When you're entering the churches, don't wear shorts and sandals. Even though you don't need to cover yourself completely when you're going to the churches, you still need to dress modestly and not reveal too much skin. Try not to display your money or wallet in public to avoid any kind of crime. The plug types in Kiev are type C and F. They both have two round pins but type F has two earth clips on the side too.
