Kobe Animal Kingdom
Kobe Animal Kingdom is a flower and bird park which is situated on Port Island in the city. The park is located in a greenhouse and surrounded by it as well. Earlier, it was named as Kobe Kachoen. The park was created by Kamo Mototeru and was opened in 2016 in the month of March. Some of the features of the park include sheep, otters, horses, camels, pigs, capybara, penguins, deer, red panda, owls, begonia, fuchsia, Phasianidae, Anatidae, toucans, African penguins, Nymphaea and others.
Kobe Oji Zoo
The Kobe Oji Zoo mainly focuses on pandas mostly. The exhibit of the pandas is right in the center and is the most attractive exhibit in the place. Students, senior citizens and people with a disability certificate can enter the zoo free of cost while it is chargeable for others. Tan Tan is the name of the panda who is the most famous panda in the exhibit. During sunny days, he can be seen out resting or eating. The Koala House is another attraction which is famous at the zoo.
Nunobiki Ropeway is way on the top of the city that is travelled via rope carrying the cable cars. From the above, the view of the city and the Kobe Harbour is breath-taking. At the top is also a cafe that serves German Beers, wurst and pretzels. The ropeway also has a path leading to beautiful gardens and small shrines.
Nunobiki Herb Garden
Nunobiki Herb Garden is situated on Mount Rokko. It has a number of herb plants, planted in its premises along with a rest house for the visitors. Almost 200 varieties of herbs are implanted in the garden, featuring around 75,000 herbs. The garden is open every day and a nominal entry fee is charged as well. The garden also has restaurants, cafes, museums, gift shops and exhibits. The garden can be accessed only by a gondola lift named Shin-Kobe Ropeway.
Meriken Park is situated in Hyogo Prefecture. The park has a number of attractions including Kobe Port Tower, the memorial for the victims of the earthquake at Great Hanshin and Kobe Maritime. The Hotel Okura Kobe and the Oriental Hotel at the park are also some of its major attractions and are housed in the premises of the park.
Arima Onsen is also one of the most visited tourist attraction in the city. It is a hot spring or commonly called an onsen and is considered as a treasure for the modern city. The site is beautiful with its amazing surroundings as well as an escape point for people who want to enjoy some moments close to nature. The site is close to the metropolitan area so it is visited by a lot of locals as well as tourists.

How To Get There?
You can start from the Kansai International Airport and reach the Kansai Airport Rapid Service which will take you to Osaka Station. From Osaka, you can get a direct train to Kobe.
