Emerald Bay State
Centering Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay,a national natural landmark, a state park in California named Emerald Bay State Park is one of the major tourist attraction. The park encompasses a 38 room mansion known as Vikingsholm that depicts the finest Scandinavian architecture. The park contains Fannette island, the only island in Lake Tahoe. It is the first underwater park covering an area of 1,533 acres. The Eagle falls here is worth seeing.
Squauw Valley Ski Resort
Situated in the Olympic Valley, California, Squaw Valley Ski Resort is considered as one of the largest ski areas in the country. After Heavenly, in Lake Tahoe, this ski area is the second largest encompassing 3600 acres, along with 30 chairlifts, and has the only funitel in the United States. Tallac Historic Site
The Tallac Historic Site was constructed between 1894 to 1930. It is a combination of 3 estates, with every estate offering different activities to entertain the visitors.
